French Keyboard Overlays

French stickers are available on clear keyboard stickers in two colors:

  • French Blue Sticker on clear stickers (blue letters on clear stickers for beige or light colored keyboards) - 20823B

  • French White Sticker on clear stickers (white letters on clear sticker for black keyboards) - 20823W)

are designed to fit desktop and laptop computer keyboards.

Product Description

The French keyboard sticker conforms to the French (France) keyboard layout in Windows XP. The stickers are printed on clear Lexan® so the original key legend shows through; this allows you to have a bilingual keyboard by adding this language to your existing keyboard. The stickers are available in blue letters on clear stickers (for beige and light colored keyboards) and white letters on clear stickers (for dark colored keyboards). This sticker supports the keyboard layouts for:  French (France), French (Luxembourg), and French (Monaco). This language is supported in Windows XP, ME, 98, and 95.

Because Luxembourg and Monaco use the standard French keyboard layout, they are supported in all versions of Windows that support French (France); if a version of Windows does not include the French (Luxembourg) or the French (Monaco) language, you can simply select the French (French) keyboard layout.

There are also French Canadian, French Belgian, and French Swiss keyboard stickers available after your request.

Overlay Legend:
Some languages require additional characters that are not available on a standard keyboard. If needed, these characters appear in the upper center and lower left corner (or lower center) portion of the overlay. Use the AltGr key (the right Alt key on a Windows keyboard) in combination with the key to print these characters.

102 Style Keyboards:
This keyboard layout includes characters that only appear on a 102 (European style) keyboard. These characters are not used on an American 101 style keyboard.
