- Supports Microsoft
Windows 95/98/ME
Japanese Partner v2000 is the first
Japanese enabling system fully supports MS Windows 98. It also supports MS
Windows 95 and MS Office 97/2000/XP. This advanced version no longer
supports MS Windows 3.x.
- Provide Unicode Mode to
Support Unicode Applications
Japanese Partner v2000 provides true
Unicode posting mode to display Japanese characters in single cursor in
all Unicode compliant applications such as MS Office 97/2000/XP. This
function enables users to edit any Japanese character with one move of
cursor. Documents created by Japanese version MS Office 97/2000/XP can be
fully readable and ready for editing in English version MS Office 97/2000/XP
and vise versa.

The outline font is smaller in size, faster
to load and can be used with font editor to create new characters. However,
quality of True Type fonts are superior especially when the characters are
required to be enlarged to certain size.
JP2000 not only includes 14 standard TT
fonts for users to have higher quality and more variety of Japanese text
in Windows applications but also provides 14 Unicode TT fonts to support
Unicode applications like MS office 97/2000/XP.
- New Super Code
Converter
This new code converter allows conversion
among Shift-JIS, JIS(EUC) and Unicode standards in text (ASCII) format and
in RTF (Rich Text Format). In the RTF mode, certain document attributes
such as font information, bold, etc. were retained. This is an important
utility which will enable users to convert their old documents to use the
Unicode posting mode.
In addition, Japanese Partner v2000 also
offers other powerful utilities: Font Editor, Meta Utility, Single Byte
Manager, Dictionary Manager, Character map and etc., to fulfill your
specific needs.
