ABBYY FineReader can recognize TIFF and JPEG files created by any digital cameras.

It's recommended to use a 5-megapixel digital camera, ideally equipped with the following features:

  • Flash disable mode
  • Manual aperture control or aperture priority mode
  • An anti-shake feature
