PROMT Internet Translation Server performs multilingual (including 7 most popular European languages) translation of information flows on web servers enabling fast - ”on-the-fly” - translation of corporate sites, incoming and outgoing mail, as well as databases content. It is a HTTP translation server intended for operation on Internet servers. The system allows processing of translation tasks that arrive from other servers which provide various Internet services: those can be WWW service or mail servers, online conference or application servers.

PROMT Internet Translation Server is installed on the dedicated server and operates on the WWW server under Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003 platforms. No additional software is required for user workstations. Right after installation the system is ready for operation and can be available for all Internet users.

Web server visitors obtain the possibility to work with the information published there, communicate in online conferences, exchange e-mails and get access to databases in 6 languages without any need for translation department assistance or help from freelance translators. The number of languages supported grows with time.

Full list of currently available specialized dictionaries consists of more than 100. Custom development of specialized dictionaries for any translation direction is also offered.

The system provides the possibility to connect new user dictionaries created either by PROMT specialists or users themselves (with the help of @promt Family desktop systems).

For implementation of an Internet project requiring custom developed dictionary containing customer’s site terms, PROMT experts offer the service of entering terms into the dictionary.
