@promt NET Professional 7.8 is a complete local network (LAN) translation solution for processing multilingual document flows within the organization. The system includes 19 components for automated translation of incoming and outgoing documentation of any kind. Multifunctional client workspaces are specially designed to solve multiple tasks of the automated translation. Common users are offered translation functions integrated into all Microsoft Office® applications, as well as Internet translator, special application for quick translation. Professionals can also work with translation topic templates, Associated Memory databases, and specialized dictionaries. New functionality is included into the 7.8 version of the program: possibility of batch file translation and automatic creation of specialized dictionaries from user glossaries.

@promt NET Professional 7.8 allows interaction of unlimited* number of LAN users with the single shared information database. This means that the software can be installed on any computer in the company, in contrast to other multi-user software where the number of installations is limited. Also included are tools of the translation process management which are important in a professional team work: linguistic administration that provides centralized control, regulation and standardization of dictionaries and topic templates used in the translation process.

All translations are carried out on the server where translation kernel with all relevant linguistic information is installed. Only access-regulating components and Microsoft Internet Explorer are required on user workstations.

The system to be delivered can be equipped with any number of the necessary language pairs. For international companies full package (20 translation directions) is recommended. Number of languages supported grows every time. Today the following language pairs are available:

Additionally, in order to improve the translation quality in the texts on specific topics, the supplied system can be equipped with specialized dictionaries and their collections, if available. Full list of currently available specialized dictionaries consists of more than 100 units. Custom development of specialized dictionaries for any translation direction is also offered.

The interface and functionality of client applications are almost similar to the ones of a desktop translation program @promt Professional 7.8. The network version also includes special utility for fast creation specialized dictionaries from glossaries and a tool for batch translation. Both of these functions will contribute to the efficient work with the system.

@promt NET Professional 7.8 permits installing client applications of the system on any computer in the company, only the quantity of server installations and simultaneous accesses from client workplaces to the translation server are limited by the license. This means that translation software can be installed on every computer in the company. This license policy is an advantage against the multi-license policy for desktop versions where the quantity of installations is limited. As a result licensing policy of @promt NET Professional 7.8 becomes very cost-effective.
